Diabetic Eye Screen: common questions
Will my eyes be dilated?
Yes. A dilated eye examination is part of this package, because it lets the doctor see your whole retina. Your vision stays blurry for 4–6 hours afterwards, so please don’t drive back. Come with a family member, and carry sunglasses.
Does the Diabetic Eye Screen include an OCT scan?
No. OCT, FFA and other advanced scans are not part of this screen. If you need OCT scans, the Detailed Diabetic Eye Evaluation includes OCT of the macula and the optic nerve in both eyes.
What happens if the doctor finds changes in my retina?
The doctor explains what was found and what to do next. If further tests are advised, your ₹1,999 is adjusted in full when you upgrade to the Detailed Diabetic Eye Evaluation or Pristine Diabetic Eye360 within 30 days.
How long does the visit take?
Please allow 2–3 hours. The dilating drops take time to work, and we don’t rush your consultation.
