What to expect

Most first-time visits start with a basic vision and eye-pressure check, followed by a consultation with the ophthalmologist. Depending on your symptoms, the doctor may recommend additional diagnostics such as OCT, corneal topography, or a dilated retina exam.

A routine consultation typically takes 45–60 minutes including diagnostics; surgical consultations (cataract, LASIK, corneal transplant) may take a little longer as they involve more detailed pre-treatment testing.
